Forrest Cloar was the oldest of the 9 children. He farmed and lived only 11/2 miles from where he was born. He married Minner Buchanan. They had one daughter, Mexie. Minner died and Forrest married Jennie Mosier and they had one son, George.

Anner was the oldest girl who was born January 3, 1870. She married Charlie Hudson and they had 3 children. Irma, the oldest child married Frank Wheeler, Henderson married Ruby Murray and Charles married Esther Carr.

Biddie and Powell were twins. They were born Sept. 13, 1872. Biddie married N.B. Glover and they always lived in Henry County near Paris. They had three daughters, Vera, Susie and Irene. Powell married Ella Owen Sept. 15, 1898. They had five girls. Ruth, the oldest, married Ivie Chandler. Gay married Robert Smith, and Hazel died when she was real young. Edna Erle married Robert Phillips and Virginia Louise married Lloyd Clifford. Powell was a farmer and was a magistrate for many years.

Charlie was born May 13,1878 and he married Bessie Campbell Nov. 23,1904. He farmed all of his life and lived in the same log house, where he was born except for a few years when he moved to Union City. They had two children. Robert E. lived in Dyersburg, and married Jeannette McKay from Brownsville, Tenn. Evelyn lived at home and was never married.

Ethel was born Feb. 18, 1880. She married Milton Downing and they lived in Hornbeak. He deceased and she remained a widow. She moved to Baton Rouge and married A.0. Robard. To Milton and Ethel were born Roswell who married Thelma Bagby. She died and he moved to Baton Rouge and married again, but she has died. Millard married Nell Lloyd. He died at an early age.

Murlie was born July 15, 1883. She married Dell Knight. She lived in a nursing home in Waverly for a while. Her children are Floyd , Lucille  and Marjorie who married Thomas Stewart and they lived in Waverly.

Inez the youngest was born April 18, 1886. She married Henry Jackson. They had John Cloar, Rufus and Patsy Lou. They have lived in Baton Rouge since 1922 or 1923.

They had another baby, Laura Lucinda, who lived to be a year old.
